The food was way better than the busy restaurants in NyaungU, although a bit further away from the city, this is the place to go if you have a chance to stop by this small village. The atmosphere is wonderful. Food, view, quiet place, superb service in the place all contributes to a 5 star restaurant. Definitely worth coming again and again. ”

“ My best gastronomic experience in Myanmar! And it happened to be one of the cheapest ones as well. At a lovely setting with views of pagodas, beautiful at sun light during the day and gorgeous when illuminated at night. The food was fenomenal. If I could I would hire the chef to be my private cook home in New York. The owner is a travel guide and he speaks fantastic English, had I known I would had booked him to be my guide. Most of local guides have basic English. ”
“ We selected this place for lunch mid way through our long bicycle ride, and we really happy we did. The food is excellent, the menu has a mix of Burmese, Thai & Chinese food. Our Burmese curry and ginger salad were delicious! Loved my ginger hot tea also. The staff and service was excellent; spoke good English. We enjoyed the conversation with the owner. The quality of the restaurant itself was good. The outlook across the grass to some nearby stupas is relaxing and interesting. This is a rare find - not overrun by tourists, and with excellent food. ”
